With the presence of a significant number of health professionals, specialized press, businessmen and guests, the Comercializadora de Servicios Médicos Cubanos S.A. (SMC) presented its business portfolio within the framework of the XL edition of the Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2024, which takes place from November 4 to 9 at the Expocuba fairgrounds.

Dr. Yamila de Armas Águila, president of SMC, explained to those present the company’s strengths, which for 13 years has been in charge of marketing health and academic medical services throughout the national territory and abroad.

The company offers a series of leading programs, including specialized consultations and special Wellness programs, natural therapies, therapeutic activities, Western and Eastern treatments, dermo-cosmetic services, and Wellness rooms.

Comercializadora de Servicios Médicos Cubanos S.A. has an entire system of specialized medical care, designed to offer peace of mind and security. In the different tourist centers of the country there are international clinics and offices with specialized doctors, international medical care rooms (AMI) to offer immediate assistance, urgent and emergency services, as well as consultations and imaging diagnoses, in addition to ambulances, laboratories, ultrasounds and x-rays.

The president of SMC explained that health has no borders. Because of the advances in communications, the company provides personalized medical care to patients anywhere in the world, where Cuban experts participate, highlighting tele medicine services, teleconsultation, telediagnosis, and educational teleconference.

Finally, Dr. Yamila de Armas Águila invited all health professionals to participate in the II International Seminar on Medical Tourism and Wellbeing that will take place from April 21 to 24, 2025 at the Pabexpo fairgrounds. in the Cuban capital.

This important event aims to promote wellness tourism and present the products, experiences and advances of health tourism in Cuba.

The II International Seminar on Medical Tourism and Wellness is organized by the Comercializadora de Servicios Médicos Cubanos S.A. and the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba, and among its activities the II Seminar on Medical Tourism and Wellness will be held, the III Forum on Foreign Investments in the health sector, the Health Tourism Award will be presented and the launch of products and services will take place.
