Belize hosts 2022 Central American Veteran Table Tennis Championships. “The event proved to be a great success, with the Opening Ceremonies held on Friday, September 16, 2022. “Participating in this year’s tournament were: Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala and Belize. Due to the difficulty of flights caused by the Covid pandemic, other countries were unable to attend. “The competition, nevertheless, was quite competitive, with Guatemala winning the overall medal count and taking the Country Championship trophy home. “The final results were varied, with Belize taking a few of the main categories. “The 2023 Central American Veterans is to be held in Cancun, Mexico. Belize hopes to be able to participate.”
