The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, denounced again the existence of a media campaign against him by the economic and political oligarchy.

He said that the objective is to achieve a minority government as before when they turned it into a committee of their own. Since they lost it, he said, they have unleashed this conservative reaction, in which they use as they have always done their manipulation media.

Fortunately, he explained, the people of Mexico are one of the least politically illiterate in the world, one of the most aware and the campaign has not worked for them.

He warned that in the world, conservatives no longer need to instigate military coups and overthrow governments by force, but to liquidate those who do not suit them with media and judicial coups, manipulating the majority of the people through the control of newspapers, radio and television.

Fortunately, with the emergence of social media it is possible to reply even if they try to prevent or limit them, but before it was impossible to respond.

He described the campaign against him and his government program, the IV Transformation, as increasingly vulgar and ridiculous, and people continue to support him. To prove it, he put a question from a recent broader survey that he could not quote in full due to electoral limitations.

The answer was 84% in favor and only 12 against, when after almost five years of government it should be down, he said.

He brought up the subject in his morning press conference at the National Palace because today is the turn of the section Quién es quién en la mentira (who is who in lying), which opened with the denial of a shameful montage staged at the Journalists Club, where a character disguised as a general without being either an officer or a military officer, spoke out against the Government supposedly in the name of the Armed Forces.
