At the Buenos Aires International Tourism Fair FIT 2025, which concludes today, Mexico is presenting “its marvelous cultural, human, and natural wealth,” said Diego Espinosa, Promotion Counselor at the Mexican Embassy in Argentina.

Mexico’s colorful stand showcases the attractions of five important destinations: Mexico City, the Mexican Caribbean, Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, Los Cabos, and Puerto Vallarta. Furthermore, all 32 provinces of the country are represented, each with unparalleled beauty, Espinosa emphasized.

“We are showcasing our colonial cities, archaeological sites, our indigenous cultures, our adventure, religious, business, nature, and romance tourism,” added the diplomat, who is responsible for the entire Mexican exhibition at FIT 2025, in statements to Prensa Latina.

He highlighted Mexico City’s presence as a unique destination, “the great cultural capital that will also be a sub-host of next year’s World Cup along with Guadalajara and Monterrey,” he stated, noting that this world event will open on June 11, 2026, at the Azteca Stadium.

The main thing that the Mexican representation at the Fair conveys is the hospitality of the Mexican people, in addition to the offerings of various hotel chains and tour operators, a total of twenty exhibitors.

The diplomat noted that the flow of Argentines to his country is constantly growing. “In fact, Argentina is now the fifth country that sends the most tourists to Mexican destinations; last year it was sixth, so we’ve noticed an improvement,” he added.

Cristian Llanos, Mexico City’s Tourism Promotion Coordinator, told Prensa Latina that they came to FIT 2025 to showcase “a city that has it all: gastronomic, cultural, adventure, and architectural tourism.” (https://www.plenglish.com/news/2025/09/30/mexico-imbued-fit-2025-with-its-exuberant-tourism-wealth/)
