Cuba. The Jardines del Rey recreational center (center-north) is getting ready for the 42nd International Tourism Fair (FITCuba 2024) scheduled to be held there from May 1 to 5, it was announced officially.

A report published in the Granma newspaper adds that the work extends beyond the facilities, with the renovation and comprehensive maintenance of the environment and the introduction of technological improvements to ensure the quality of the event.

Jardines del Rey, the well-known tourist destination in the north of Ciego de Avila, is getting ready for the important meeting, the most relevant tourism exchange in Cuba and the Caribbean.

Another local newspaper, Invasor, reports that the work is aimed at giving a very special touch to the area.

The general director of Business Projects of the Cuban Telecommunications Company (ETECSA), Frank Pavón, announced that for the first time, the Long Term Evolution (LTE) cellular network will reach the tourist center.

This network will operate in the 700 and 900 MHZ frequencies, which will improve the service in the whole area. He also specified that the wireless communication system will have new radio bases located at strategic points.
