The proposal of Cuba as a health destination will have a space in the 42nd edition of the International Tourism Fair, FITCuba 2024, to be held from May 1 to 5 of this year, recognized for being the most significant professional event that develops the Cuban tourism industry.
Dedicated on this occasion to Latin America and the Caribbean, the event will be held in the paradisiacal Jardines del Rey archipelago, located north of the central province of Ciego de Ávila, and made up of Cayo Coco, Cayo Guillermo, and Cayo Paredón.
During the event, the Comercializadora de Servicios Médicos Cubanos, S.A. (CSMC, S.A.), an entity that brings together all the country’s potential for those who seek to combine rest with medical and wellness treatments, or for those who see Cuba as a solution to their health problems, will develop an intense program of activities and business meetings focus on its wellness tourism offer by strengthening alliances with the tourism sector.
The event will serve as a platform for the launch of Wellness Tourism Services, a collaboration between Cuban Medical Services (SMC) and the Blue Diamond hotel chain, which will take place on May 3 at 2:00 p.m. That same day, at 2:40 p.m., the call for the Second Edition of the International Medical Tourism and Wellness Fair, FITSaludCuba 2025, and also the International Health Tourism Award will be announced. The Optional Sales Presentation will also be held between SMC and MGM Muthu Hotels & Resorts.
FITCuba has established itself as a fundamental space for exchange between specialists, managers, and tourism companies with a presence in Cuba.
