During 2023 this city received cultural tourism from the United States, Italy, Mexico, Kenya, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Germany, and the United Kingdom, said Yaritza Leyva, commercial specialist of the Paradiso Agency Santiago de Cuba.

Among the spaces that had the participation of Paradiso were the International Book Fair, Africanía, the FIDANZ 2023 Dance Festival, the event City, image and memory, and the Caribbean and International Choir festivals Electo Silva clarified Indira Ramírez, manager of the Agency.

Specialists agree that after COVID-19, cultural life in the southeastern province once again had an international presence and the recovered participation of foreign artists and audiences, in a territory that treasures one of the most appreciated heritages in Cuba.

Belonging to the ARTEX branch, the Paradiso Cultural Tourism Agency, in charge of marketing the products of Santiago’s culture, has among its challenges for 2024 to strengthen ties with the organizing committees of cultural events. (PL)
