The Portuguese hotel chain Vila Galé Hotéis will venture into Cuba for the first time with the opening of an all-inclusive resort in Cayo Paredón Grande, in the tourist destination Jardines del Rey, north of this province.

The Vila Galé Cayo Paredón hotel will begin operations next October and will have 638 rooms, including 620 standard, 16 standard deluxe and two suites, five bars, swimming pools for children and adults, spa, spaces for the youngest, rooms for events, nautical center and sports courts.

According to the Portuguese company’s website, the hotel will have a Five-Star category, and its seven restaurants will offer gastronomic services for all tastes and the five bars will sell Cuban and international cocktails.

Vila Galé Hotéis with more than 40 hotels in Portugal and Brazil, is the largest resort operator in the country, and it is in the group’s interest to continue consolidating itself as one of the largest resort operators in the Americas and a benchmark in the international hotel sector.

Paredón Grande is one of the keys that make up the tourist destination Jardines del Rey, on the north coast of Ciego de Ávila, and stands out for being surrounded by beautiful tropical landscapes, a rich biodiversity and beautiful beaches of coral origin, among which Los Pinos, Los Lirios and Playa del Norte stand out.

The recreation pole has 26 hotels, four- and five-star categories, located on the beachfront, which cover more than 12 thousand rooms.
