Cuba. The Minister of Tourism of Cuba, Juan Carlos García Granda, accompanied by Mr. Luis Ricardo Martínez, current president of COCAL, welcomed the participants who for two days will exchange criteria and experiences in the 39th edition of the Congress of the Federation of Congress Organizing Entities of Latin America (COCAL), which will take place from June 4 to 6 at the Meliá Internacional Hotel in Varadero.

García Granda expressed his satisfaction that the president of COCAL and his team have decided this year to hold their 39th Congress in Cuba, and mainly in Varadero, where they can enjoy all the possibilities we have and especially the hospitality of its workers, the people and its beaches. He also thanked the speakers who traveled from different countries to participate in this tourist meeting, with the conviction that “the doors will be opened so that Cuba is loved and helped, and is the scene of many more events,” he said.

For his part, Mr. Luis Ricardo Martínez, president of COCAL, thanked the tourist authorities of the island for the reception and support provided for the development of this Congress, considering that it will be held in one of the best facilities in the country, with all the conditions to guarantee the success of the event, displaying the slogan “Everything is Possible”.

Previously, the Cuban painter Flora Font presented a painting of her authorship and signed the slogan of the event: “Everything is Possible”.

Among the personalities present was Mr. Diego González, president of the Ibero-American Network of Accessible Tourism, as well as other COCAL executives from different countries.

19 Latin American countries meet at this meeting, with more than 300 visitors.
