Aloft San Pedro Sula is Marriott’s newest hotel in Honduras. The establishment, located in the city of San Pedro Sula, has 122 rooms and represents the return of the American to the country after the Marriott Tegucigalpa hotel closed in 2020 as a result of the ravages of the pandemic.
The hotel, housed in a 10-storey building, also has a bar, lounge, restaurant, various meeting and event spaces, gym and swimming pool.
Aloft is a brand with developments in the Mexican Caribbean, Costa Rica, Panama and Puerto Rico. Music, design and technology define this type of hotel with meeting rooms for digital nomads, spaces for videoconferencing, gym and other amenities.
Likewise, the American giant also intends to land with that brand, along with other brands, in Saudi Arabia, as already reported by ‘Development’. In this sense, Marriott will open eight hotels in the holy city of Madinah to enrich the pilgrims’ journey through the construction of commercial, residential and hotel design projects (Marriott will land eight of its brands in Saudi Arabia in just two agreements).
