For this, in 2023, the advertising and promotion line registers an approved budget of RD $ 2,689.6 million, of which RD $ 259.4 million has been executed. That is, 9.6%.
However, according to the physical financial report of the state entity, national tourism promotion activities have an assigned budget of RD $ 363.4 million to encourage, encourage and promote domestic tourism, while RD $ 1,541.4 million are destined to international tourism promotion.

However, in 2022, 51.1% of the RD$1,783.7 million approved was executed, that is, RD$911.5 million. The data show that between 2020 and 2021 it fell by 26.9%, going from RD $ 2,590.9 million to RD $ 1,892.4 million, due to the effects of the coronavirus. But if the RD $ 2,689.6 million of this year are compared with the RD $ 2,640.4 million of 2018, an increase of 1.8% is reported.
