The Organization of American States (OAS) will ship a delegation to St Kitts and Nevis to watch the nation’s August 5, Common Election.
The Electoral Statement Mission (EOM) might be led by former Prime Minister of Jamaica Bruce Golding.
The EOM is comprised of 11 specialists and observers from 9 totally different nations of the area.
They are going to work in-person and remotely to watch areas similar to electoral organization, expertise, electoral justice, political finance and the political participation of ladies.
The Mission started its preliminary deployment yesterday.
Golding will arrive in Basseterre on Tuesday, August 2 and he’ll meet with authorities’ officers, electoral authorities, political leaders, candidates, representatives of civil society and different related stakeholders.
That is the fourth time the OAS will deploy an EOM in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
