Trinidad and Tobago has recorded two additional cases of the omicron variant.
Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh made the disclosure at a media conference on Saturday.
One case was detected in a passenger who came in from a flight that was diverted to Puerto Rico earlier this week, while the other originated from a Miami flight.
Both cases, he said, have been isolated.
On Monday, Deyalsingh announced the country’s first case of the omicron variant.
The health minister revealed a woman boarded a flight in New York City despite presenting a positive COVID-19 test.
