Habanos World Challenge National Competition opens in Cuba. The Habanos Corporation, S.A., a world leader in the commercialization of Premium cigars, is holding the Habanos World Challenge National Competition for the Cuban domestic market on Friday.  The company informed that this will be the first experience of its kind in Cuba. Several pairs of competitors will participate. They belong to four entities: Gaviota, Caracol, CIMEX, and Abel Cigar Lounge. The competition, held at the Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski, will select the pair that will represent Cuba in the Habanos World Challenge International Contest at the 25th Habano Festival in 2025. This year’s Habanos Festival was held from February 26 to March 1 and was attended by some 2,900 delegates from 108 countries and more than 160 journalists from several international media from 17 nations. Founded on September 14, 1994, the Habanos Corporation, S.A. is present in more than 130 territories of five continents and has 27 Premium brands, including Cohiba, Montecristo, Partagas, Romeo y Julieta, Hoyo de Monterrey, and H. Upmann.
