Dominica’s World Creole Music Festival Ends on High Note. The three-day celebration ended on a high note, with Signal Band’s electrifying finale that left the crowd breathless, their phone lights flashing like stars against the night sky, Dominican flags waving, and the Windsor Park Sports Stadium vibrating with the powerful rhythms of Creole music. The festival drew thousands over its three nights, bringing together friends, family, and music lovers decked out in vibrant outfits to celebrate this 45th annual edition. Among the many unforgettable moments was Day 2’s standout performance by Wizkid, the only African artist at the event. Fans were buzzing, saying he brought unmatched energy that had everyone grooving to his beats. Dominican leaders, Miss Dominica 2024 Kyanna Dyer, and cultural icons all came out to celebrate, with Kyanna even dressed in vibrant national colors. She joined the crowd, soaking up the spirit of the festival and calling on everyone to keep the energy alive for Carnival 2025.
