Kevin Spacey trial live updates: Actor appears in court to face sexual assault charges. The actor was described as a “sexual bully” by prosecutors in opening statements. He denies all the allegations against him. Kevin Spacey appeared Monday at a London court, where the Oscar-winning actor continued to face a weekslong trial over a dozen sexual offense charges. The courtroom heard from the first alleged victim to speak during the trial. The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said Spacey repeatedly grabbed and groped him over the course of five years, despite pleas for the actor to stop. Spacey, 63, is facing charges over offenses alleged to have taken place between 2001 and 2013, including indecent and sexual assaults and an offense of causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent, which carries a maximum punishment of life imprisonment.
