Bono, from U2, will close the international tour of his memoir book in Madrid. Bono, the charismatic vocalist and composer of the Irish group U2, has chosen the stop in Madrid, on November 28, as the end of the tour to present his memoir, “Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story”, with which he will tour 14 cities in North America and Europe. This work about his life will be published on November 1, Live Nation, producer of this tour of theaters called Stories of Surrender, reported Monday. Consisting of 40 chapters bearing U2 song titles and original illustrations by the author, these pages trace his biography from childhood in Dublin to the loss of his mother at age 14. A day later, on November 2, the tour will begin at the Beacon Theater in New York, in which Bono “will bring to life the stories of his life live and direct”. “In these shows I have some stories to sing and some songs to tell. Also, I want to have fun presenting ‘my’ memories, which are actually ‘our’ memories, if I think of all the people who have helped me get here,” Bono explained.
