Havana Club will celebrate its 30th anniversary on November 23 organizing a group of activities, launching the campaign “30 years of success with my people”.
This Friday during a press conference at the Rum Museum, Cristian Barre, general director of Havana Club International S.A. highlighted the results of the company during these three decades, thanks to the effort of its workers, who work every day for the quality and positioning of one of the most internationally recognized brands. which to date has accumulated 457 medals and international awards.
He said that in the last year, 4.3 million boxes were sold in the international market and work is being done to position them in other markets such as Canada, Mexico, Poland, the United Kingdom, China and India, among others, maintaining the traditional markets such as Spain, Italy, Germany and France.
Coinciding with its 30th anniversary, Havana Club will present the “Tributo 2023” at the next Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2023, which will take place from the 6th to the 11th of this month. “Tributo 2023” is a limited edition of only two thousand 500 bottles.
Barre explained that Havana Club is working on caring for the environment, saving energy and implementing works of social impact, basically in hospitals, nursing homes and the residential environment where the San José factory is located.
Since its creation, the company has worked to keep alive the rum culture, the result of the traditions transmitted through several generations of great masters and the nation’s heritage, highlighting the programs of the Rum Museum, which this month reaches its tenth anniversary and has been visited by 2.6 million people of various nationalities.
Havana Club International S.A. was created in 1993, as part of the union between Cuba Ron and the French group Pernod Ricard, in charge of the global marketing of one of the best light rums on the planet and pride of Cubans.
