The vertical wholesale tour operator, Enjoy Travel Group, participated in the recently completed International Tourism Fair, FitCuba 2024, which took place from May 2 to 5 at the Jardines del Rey tourist hub.

In statements to Periódico Digital Centroamericano y del Caribe, Luis Jiménez Ayala, Vice President Marketing & Sales of Enjoy Travel Group, reiterated that all conditions are in place for the start of the Madrid-Havana flight, which will begin every Saturday from June 29 until September 7, and as a novelty it was announced that it will also reach eastern Cuba, connecting Madrid-Havana-Holguín / Holguín-Havana-Madrid.

Jiménez Ayala explained that the Spanish tourist who wants to know the tourist benefits of eastern Cuba will be able to do so with Enjoy Travel Group thanks to this new connectivity.

This frequency will be carried out with Plus Ultra A330-200 aircraft, with 288 seats, of which 24 are in Business class. To guarantee the success of this flight, agreements were established with the main railway networks in Spain, such as Renfe and Iryo, to offer preferential rates in the flight packages to Havana, connecting Madrid with all the provinces of Spain.

The Enjoy Travel Group executive said that for years they have maintained systematic work with the Mexican market, operating the Magnicharter flight with a daily frequency from Cancun to Havana and two weekly flights from Mérida to Havana.

“We have already closed operations with tour operators so that a Mexican client who lived in Mérida previously if he wanted to go to Spain, he had to travel to the Federal District and take a plane to Madrid from there. Now we are giving him a much more attractive option so he can take the same flight from Mérida, arrive in Havana, enjoy a day in the Cuban capital,  and the next day flies from Havana to Madrid This is a very positive package, since that client who was going to Madrid enjoys a night in Havana and thus we encourage him to May your next vacation be spent in Cuba,” said Jiménez Ayala.

Regarding FitCuba 2024, he stated that it was spectacular, with excellent organization, with very successful meetings, with a very good reception from the tour operators, tourism companies and airlines with whom they met.

Enjoy Travel Group continues to bet on tourism to Cuba, reaffirming its commitment to the development of actions aimed at promoting trips to the largest of the Antilles, where under the motto #viajarnosune it makes all its potential available to tourists, capable of pleasing to the most demanding visitor.
