The provincial head of the Front for Restoring Family Contacts of the Red Cross, Gloria Bonnin, confirmed on Saturday to Prensa Latina that there are 19 missing persons and 32 deceased, according to the list prepared so far.

The expert said that statistics are moving up rapidly and is usually inaccurate because people arrive constantly asking and looking for information about those who lived nearby or were at the scene.

When referring to the missing people, Bonnin assured that they are those who are not registered in the morgue or in hospitals and have not yet had any contact with their relatives, friends or acquaintances.

According to her information, until the moment of the interview, 22 patients (12 men and 10 women) were treated at the Calixto Garcia Hospital, 12 of whom were discharged and 10 remain hospitalized.

Three other people are hospitalized in the Miguel Enriquez Hospital (two men and one woman); four (one man and three women) at the Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospital, and six (three men and three women) remain at the Freyde de Andrade Hospital, in Centro Habana.

Likewise, hospital admissions were reported at Fructuoso Rodriguez, four (one man and three women); Manuel Fajardo, one; the Institute of Neurology, two (one man and one woman); and Juan Manuel Marquez, 14 children (seven girls and seven boys).

Bonnin noted that the way to identify the deceased by sex responds to the information that comes from the Red Cross command about the characteristics of the bodies.
