El Salvador. As indicated on its website, the portal dedicated to tourism in the world, Lonely Planet, has placed El Salvador as one of the main travel destinations for the next year, 2023. The publication was highlighted by the President of the Republic, Nayib Bukele.
Lonely Planet makes a brief review of the tourist offer in El Salvador, pointing out that the national territory offers unique destinations and experiences in Central America, through its beaches, mountains, cultural and historical offerings, and many more surprises.

Lonely Planet is a web portal dedicated to making reviews of tourist destinations and places. On its website, there is an infinite offer of places to visit around the world, among which El Salvador now also stands out.
On November 10, the Ministry of Tourism (MITUR) reported that El Salvador has recovered 94% of post-pandemic tourism and that, in 2022, it has positioned itself as a benchmark in the region, exceeding projections.
Tourism indicated that 2 million visitors have been received, of which 54% were by air, 46% by land, registering a growth of 47%. In addition, the institution explained that, thanks to the fact that the stay of visitors in the country has increased, $2,077 million in foreign currency has been achieved, increasing by 52%, compared to the year 2019.
