Cuba. After the announcement of the Ministry of Tourism of Cuba about the progressive reopening of borders as of November 15, responding to the accelerated vaccination process that the country is currently developing, Iberostar Group has begun to plan an ambitious calendar of reopening for the coming months, for the return to normality of its hotels in Cuba, depending on the reactivation of demand and air connectivity.

On November 1, Iberostar Group plans to reopen Iberostar Grand Packard, its maximum exponent of the luxury segment on the island, Iberostar Selection Bella Vista Varadero, Iberostar Selection Ensenachos, Coral Level at Iberostar Selection Ensenachos, and Iberostar Daiquiri, just in time for this year’s Black Friday.

As of December 1, Iberostar Bella Costa, in Varadero, and Iberostar Selection Holguín will reopen together with the Coral Level at Iberostar Selection Holguín; on December 22, Iberostar Playa Alameda and Iberostar Heritage Grand Trinidad, which – added to the previous ones- will be ready to receive those who decide to celebrate this Christmas in the Greater Antilles. For its part, Iberostar Selection Playa Pilar, in Cayo Guillermo, is scheduled to open in January next year.

Both in these hotels, and in those that are operational since the end of 2020 – Iberostar Parque Central, Iberostar Selection Varadero, Iberostar Laguna Azul and Iberostar Taínos -, Iberostar Group ensures its customers a quiet and safe stay, thanks to the How We Care program, with more than 300 measures that offer a safe environment, hygiene standards, social space and an innovative experience. With the restart of hotel operations in Cuba, Iberostar reactivates its trips combined Havana-Varadero or Havana- Los Cayos, fortress of destiny, with respect to others from the Caribbean, which allows visitors to live in the same trip, an experience urban and sun and beach. Experiences that, in addition, Iberostar allows them to share in their social networks, with the expansion of the Wi-Fi service -free of charge- in all its hotels.

Coral Level at Iberostar Selection Esmeralda: a superior experience in Cayo Cruz Iberostar’s reopening calendar also includes the inauguration on 22 October. December, from Coral Level at Iberostar Selection Esmeralda, with which the chain reinforces in Cuba its commitment to quality tourism.

The hotel and its key location offer the possibility of enjoying countless activities and discovering Cuba. Inside the hotel, in addition to the culinary offer, a Cigar Bar of its own in which to enjoy the best habanos vitolario and a selection of rums and spirits; and around, the practice of diving allows you to discover the biodiversity of the seabed. Iberostar Group thus demonstrates that it continues to advance relentlessly in the three pillars wave of change: eliminating single-use plastics moving towards a circular economy, promotion of responsible fish consumption and Coastal health care.

El hotel y su ubicación clave ofrecen la posibilidad de disfrutar de infinidad de actividades y de descubrir Cuba.
