Starting in September, Avianca will expand its Business Class service to more than 40 additional international routes across the Americas.

  • With this expansion, the experience will be available on more than 80 international routes operated by Airbus A320 aircraft.
  • Tickets for these upgraded routes are now available for purchase through avianca.com and other official sales channels.

MIAMI, FL — June 24, 2025: As part of the IATA Wings of Change Americas conference taking place in Bogotá on June 25–26, Avianca announced it is strengthening its Business Class offering in the region, now reaching more than 80 international routes. This expansion allows Avianca customers to access a premium experience that combines enhanced comfort, priority service, and onboard amenities tailored for travel across the Americas on Airbus A320 aircraft.

“A year ago, we reintroduced the Business Class experience on 11 routes within the Americas from Bogotá. The response from our passengers was immediate, which led us to add 23 more routes in December. Today, I’m thrilled to announce that we are extending the service to all of our international routes from Bogotá, Medellín, and San Salvador. I want to thank the more than 500,000 customers who have placed their trust in choosing our Business Class product, and to the teams who have made it possible,” said Frederico Pedreira, CEO of Avianca. “This is a clear reflection of our commitment to listening to our customers and adapting with a flexible model that meets the needs of every traveler—because at Avianca, the sky belongs to everyone,” he added.

The Business Class Americas experience includes access to premium seats with extra recline and additional space in the first three rows of the aircraft, charging ports, and access to Avianca’s On Air entertainment system via mobile devices. The fare also includes one personal item, one carry-on bag up to 10 kg, and two checked bags of up to 32 kg each. Passengers also enjoy exclusive perks such as free changes and refunds prior to departure, priority services (check-in, baggage drop-off and retrieval, and boarding), access to Avianca Lounges, and the ability to earn 10 LifeMiles for every dollar spent.

Tickets for routes featuring the Business Class cabin are now available for purchase at avianca.com, through the Contact Center, the mobile app, and travel agencies.
