Continuing its Caribbean-Mexico expansion, Alaska Airlines has announced plans to kick off a pair of new nonstop routes to Mexico this winter.

That will include new flights from Los Angeles to both La Paz and Monterrey, with tickets for both flights available as of July 3.

Alaska has been steadily growing its regional footprint, both to Mexico and the broader Caribbean Basin, including flights to Belize and, more recently, its first-ever nonstop flights to Nassau in The Bahamas.

Alaska will be the only carrier flying nonstop between the US and La Paz, set in Baja California, with up to three flights each week.

The Los Angeles-Monterrey flights will run daily, in a big boost for a popular culinary hotspot and cultural destination.

The new Monterrey service will debut Nov. 20, while Los Angeles-Monterrey flights will begin on Feb. 13, 2025. (https://www.caribjournal.com/2024/07/03/alaska-airlines-nonstop-flights-to-mexico/)
