A twice-daily connection between Miami and Havana will commence on April 10th next year.

Delta plans to reconnect Miami International Airport (MIA) and José Martí International Airport, Havana (HAV), twice daily, commencing operations on April 10th, 2023.

The Atlanta-based airline returned to operating in Cuba in 2016 for the first time in 55 years after the United States Federal Government removed restrictions on commercial passenger travel. However, the airline suspended operations with travel restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic in force during 2020. With travel demand resuming, the airline has planned to reintroduce its Cuban connection.

Delta will fly the A320 to Cuba.

Delta will operate the route from Miami to Havana utilizing the Airbus A320, scheduled to fly twice daily. The A320 will give passengers various travel options onboard, offering First Class, Comfort Plus, and Main Cabin seating. The airline will follow the below schedule:

Outbound Miami to Havana:

DL1787 will depart Miami International Airport (MIA) at 09:05, arriving at José Martí International Airport, Havana (HAV) at 10:20

DL1789 will depart Miami International Airport (MIA) at 13:40, arriving at José Martí International Airport, Havana (HAV) at 15:00

Inbound Havana to Miami:

DL1788 will depart José Martí International Airport, Havana (HAV) at 11:55, arriving at Miami International Airport (MIA) at 13:05

DL1790 will depart José Martí International Airport, Havana (HAV) at 16:25, arriving at Miami International Airport (MIA) at 17:35
