The Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism (MITUR) will host its third Trade Show in Miami from April 2-4, 2025. This event will conclude the winter tourism season and initiate strategic planning for the upcoming year, reinforcing the country’s presence in the American tourism market. The 2024 edition attracted 594 industry professionals and facilitated nearly 1,000 business meetings. The upcoming event is expected to surpass these numbers, with 602 participants, 90 co-exhibitors, and 1,157 scheduled meetings.

The event will feature business roundtables, hotel and destination launches, investment project presentations, and new cooperation agreements. These agreements aim to bring over 500,000 tourists, generate 4,425 new hotel rooms, create 33,000 jobs, and contribute US$910 million to the national GDP. Representatives from airlines, cruise lines, and hotel chains such as Iberostar, Barceló, and Meliá will participate, solidifying the Trade Show as a premier platform for tourism growth and investment.

This edition highlights the Dominican Republic’s leadership in Caribbean tourism, emphasizing its dedication to sustainable development, foreign investment, and industry expansion. (https://dominicantoday.com/dr/tourism/2025/04/02/dominican-republic-to-host-third-trade-show-in-miami/)
