The 2025 edition of the Latin American International Tourism Fair (FIT) closed with record attendance, drawing over 140,000 visitors, participation from 60 countries, all Argentine provinces, more than 1,930 exhibitors, and over 10,000 business meetings. The event’s success was highlighted by Secretary of Tourism, Environment and Sports Daniel Scioli, and FAEVYT president Andrés Deyá.
Scioli described tourism as a “national cause” and emphasized its role in creating jobs, opening opportunities, and fostering pride among Argentine families. Deyá noted that this edition featured eight more countries than last year and a 4% increase in exhibitors, alongside 170 training talks and six full auditoriums, reflecting the sector’s engagement and growth.
The next FIT, marking its 30th edition, will be held from September 26 to 29, 2026, with the Dominican Republic as the guest country. Both leaders agreed that the fair went beyond a typical exhibition, serving as a milestone for culture, training, and industry networking, solidifying Argentina’s position as a global tourism leader.
