The cruise line plans to open its second Royal Beach Club in 2026 along the western coast of the island. The private destination will feature beaches, swim-up bars, pools for families and for relaxing, private cabanas, snorkeling, kayaking and other activities.
The destination will also have a restaurant, bar and lounge, a street market and hands-on experiences like tequila tastings and cooking classes.
The announcement to build a second beach club comes as Royal Caribbean prepares to open its first Royal Beach Club in 2025 at Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas.
The line’s Royal Beach Club concept differs from the Perfect Day at CocoCay private destination in the Bahamas. The beach club will offer experiences adjacent to public ports of call and requires an entrance fee. Perfect Day requires no additional charge for entrance.
