On the heels of Maroma, a Belmond Hotel, Riviera Maya’s reopening in 2023, the newly renovated property has launched Maroma Spa by Guerlain. Now open to guests, this is the first spa by Guerlain in Latin America.
Healing rituals at the spa are inspired by the four natural elements: fire, water, earth, and air; ancient practices; and the Melipona bee, revered by the Mayans for more than 3,000 years. One exclusive treatment is the Bee Healing Ritual, a honey-based procedure renowned for its healing powers.
Guests can choose other destination-inspired treatments, including the Purifying Cenote, a refreshing and moisturizing treatment inspired by the Riviera Maya’s cenotes, and the Talisman of Immunity, a holistic ritual that combines black orchid to defend against aging and the strength of black obsidian to help improve grounding and find balance.
