Jamaica will host the 42nd edition of the Caribbean Travel Marketplace of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association to be held from May 20 to 22, 2024, Our Today said today.
The most important event of this organization will bring together buyers and sellers of tourism products and services from the Caribbean region and will be held at the Montego Bay Convention Center, the site reported.
“At Caribbean Travel Marketplace we can show the world how the resilience of the Caribbean tourism sector has made our destination safe for locals and visitors alike,” Jamaican Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett said of the announcement.
In addition, he considered it appropriate that his country will host this regional event as it continues its path to growth.
“This forum will contribute greatly to our tourism suppliers and buyers and will ultimately create strong partnerships in the future. It will also provide multi-destination opportunities for participants who wish to have different experiences during the period,” Bartlett said.
For his part, the president of the Association of Hotels and Tourism of Jamaica, Robin Russell, remarked in a statement that this prestigious event offers an important platform to showcase the rich offers and experiences of his nation and the Greater Caribbean region. (PL)
