Hyatt Hotels Corporation will introduce its Hyatt Centric brand to Costa Rica. Hyatt Centric Escazu, San José, is expected to open in 2024. This will be the third Hyatt Centric hotel in Central America.
Plaza Tempo was the chosen location for this new lifestyle hotel. The property will feature 161 modern guestrooms and suites, a large fitness center, an ample event space, and a fully equipped coffee bar and lounge. In addition, the hotel will offer an all-day dining restaurant and a full-service bar.
Just 10 minutes from downtown San Jose and 10 miles from the Juan Santamaria International Airport, the hotel will be located within walking distance of the city’s top dining destinations, modern shopping plazas and lively entertainment venues.

The opening of Hyatt Centric Escazu San Jose will build on Hyatt’s intentional brand growth strategy in key leisure markets, joining Hyatt Centric Guatemala City and Hyatt Centric San Salvador in Central America.

This is possible thanks to signing a management agreement with local developer Caribe Hospitality.
