Cancun to Host Tourism Leaders at MarketHub Americas

Mexico. Tourism leaders from around the world are preparing to gather in Cancun next month to discuss “Where Next” in the travel industry, during the tenth edition of Hotelbeds’ MarketHub Americas.

The two-day conference, on May 9 and 10, will look at who the traveler of tomorrow is, as well as the disruption generation and impact it will have. Topics such as the power of personalization and how innovation will guide the future of travel will also be covered.

“In this historic year for MarketHub Americas, there are a wealth of topics to discuss about the future of our industry,” said Carlos Muñoz, chief commercial officer at Hotelbeds.

“As a leading TravelTech company, we can’t help but delve into how technology and data are reshaping the travel ecosystem, and how our customers can use this to attract new consumers while inspiring greater loyalty from existing customers.”

In addition to the conference programme, there is also a fairground and networking opportunities. Panelists at the conference include; Nejc Jus, Head of Research at the World Travel and Tourism Council; Irene Gómez from Telefónica; Bobby Shoraka of Morgan Stanley; and Thomas Sacchetti of Smarter Travel.
