Cuba. Gran Caribe Hotel Group held a press conference on Tuesday, July 7, at the emblematic Hotel Nacional de Cuba, to announce the facilities that are already available to receive national tourism, as well as explain the security protocols that will govern in each of the facilities of the chain.

Cristina León, president of Gran Caribe Group,  indicated that under the advertising campaign “Back to you”, aimed at accompanying the client in the reunion of an unforgettable experience, the chain has reopened a group of tourist facilities, which in this first stage will be aimed only at national tourism and only – in a second stage-  to international tourism.

In Havana, the hotels Habana Libre and Neptuno – Tritón were providing services, and now in this first phase the houses of Villa Los Pinos are incorporated. In Mayabeque province, Villa Trópico is already opened, with the houses of Villa Loma, a highly sought-after product, with a fairly acceptable occupancy rate.

The president of Gran Caribe explained that in Varadero Beach there are some facilities in operation: these are the cases of Villa Tortuga, the Hotel Kawama, the Hotel Melia Internacional and the Hotel Iberostar Taino, and Hotel Arenas Blancas of Barceló Solymar Complex.

In Cienfuegos, Hotel Faro Luna already opened its doors and, in the coming days, will be reinserted the facility Hotel Rancho Luna, which was remodeled with a level of major improvements.

In the Isle of Youth, Rancho del Tesoro Hotel and Villa Isla are already opened, and a hard work is under way to open the Camping facilities soon.

Cristina León stated that the chain has planned in a second phase – with the entry of international tourism- the opening of the cays, where Gran Caribe has an important presence. In Ciego de Avila it will open with the Hotel Pullman Cayo Coco and -pending on demand – Melia Cayo Coco, and in Cayo Guillermo the Product Daiquiri, can be incorporated.

In Cayo Largo, the Sol Cayo Largo and Iguana Hotels will be providing services, and the rest of the facilities will gradually be added.

Already in a third phase of recovery of the pandemic, the rest of the facilities will come into operation, which will strictly comply with the protocols and measures established and that is expected to occur with the high season of international tourism in our country.

Each hotel facility has a Hygiene Staff and safety protocols aim to ensure the health of customers and workers. Measures include epidemiological surveillance, the use of means of protection by workers, the disinfection of hands and footwear, the rigorous cleaning of the rooms, as well as social distance inside the Hotel as it is stablished.

During quarantine, many of its facilities welcomed tourists stranded in the country, as well as providing services to staff who remained working directly in the confrontation of the pandemic. At the same time, they have carried out maintenance and renovation of the facilities, so customers can find a completely renovated and more attractive product.

The hotel chain is ready to receive international tourism, once the conditions of the country and the international situation allow it, although they will only be able to travel to the keys without being able to move to other provinces, as available in each of the phases of recovery.

The Gran Caribe Hotel Group was created on August 1, 1994, with 14,000 rooms in 54 facilities, including six hotel complexes. Many of its facilities show cultural, historical and heritage taxes, promoting the national identity, traditions and historical values of Cuba.

To book in the facilities of Gran Caribe, interested parties can go to the Tourist Bureaus that provide those services, as well as through their website: www.grancaribehotels.com, and make the payment for the Transfermobile App, and very soon, throughout Enzona App. It can also be booked from the outside directly on its website.

Gran Caribe invites you to dream as always and to live like never before.
