The International Federation of Athletics (World Athletics) is currently preparing a strategy to properly address the post-pandemic stage of the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus. On Monday, the organization published on its official website the results of an extraordinary virtual meeting to discuss the effects of Covid-19 and the prospects of working towards the right path in the future. The note informs that the organization plans to achieve a healthier world from the strength of the summoning of its main figures, calling more events for all ages and directing efforts towards a greater practice of massive exercises. Sebastian Coe, head of the organization, highlighted that despite the global situation, these more than two months served to reorient the strategic plan for the next four years and address important topics with representatives of the 214 federations affiliated with World Athletics.
