A dangerous mafia boss, Angel Casarrubias Salgado, alias El Mochomo, implicated in the Ayotzinapa 43 missing student teachers, was arrested in Mexico State, the government informed.
An official report indicates on Monday that El Mochomo, one of the main suspects in the case occurred in Iguala, Guerrero, was detained on Wednesday, June 24, and is being held in the Federal Center for Social Re-adaptation Number 1, El Altiplano, in Almoloya, Mexico State.
The note indicates that the detainee is the leader of the Guerreros Unidos Cartel, a drug trafficking organization that is responsible for the kidnapping and disappearance of 43 student teachers in September 2014.
Casarrubias Salgado’s arrest was conducted by the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic and the Secretariat of Security and Civilian Protection, in Metepec, Mexico State, and in compliance with a federal judge’s order.
Today, the leader of Guerreros Unidos Cartel will be presented before a judge, who will determine the legality of his arrest and inform him of the charges for which he was detained. (https://www.independent.ng/mafia-boss-arrested-in-mexico/)
