Claudia Sheinbaum With 70 % Approval in First Month of Government

The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, registered 70 percent approval in her first month of government, according to results of a national survey released today.

According to the newspaper El Financiero, carried out in October, the disapproval to the work of the president was 24 percent, with a six percent consulted that did not respond.

The best value of the administration starts are social support, with 70 percent positive opinion and 16 percent negative, as well as the treatment granted to women’s rights, with 66 percent favorable evaluation and 20 percent unfavorable, the study refers.

Among the negative elements, the interviewees pointed out the issue of corruption and insecurity.

When evaluating the president’s attributes, in honesty 68 percent of the people gave a favorable opinion; in leadership she did 64 percent, and in the capacity to give results, 58 percent, While the negative criteria in these evaluations were between 14 and 17 percent.

At the usual morning conferences of the dignitary, 59 percent of those consulted expressed a good or very good opinion, compared to 21 percent that expressed a bad or very bad criterion.

In general, 67 percent of respondents said that Sheinbaum’s style likes or something, compared to 30 percent that likes little or nothing.

The first woman to occupy the presidency of Mexico obtained an overwhelming triumph in the elections of June 2, in which she exceeded 35.9 million votes and became the most voted candidate in the recent history of the country, with a very wide advantage over her rivals.
