Cuba. President Miguel Díaz-Canel returned to Cuba after visiting several African countries and attending the 15th BRICS Summit in South Africa, national television reported.

Prime Minister Manuel Marrero and Vice President Salvador Valdés received the Head of State at Havana’s José Martí International Airport.

Since August 19, Díaz-Canel made official visits to Angola, Mozambique, and Namibia and participated in the 15th BRICS Summit in South Africa, to which Cuba was invited as temporary Chair of the Group of 77 (G-77) plus China.
