Costa Rica will be added to Mexico, Chile and Colombia as part of the Latin American countries in the OECD
The costarican government announced Friday its entry into the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), becoming the Member state number 38 and in the first Central American country to be part of this international body.
Costa Rica received the invitation of the OECD because the country ruled by Carlos Alvarado Quesada meets all the requirements. Its entrance to the organization will be formalized after they have ratified the instruments of accession, as reported by local media.
