Miss Belize wins Miss Central America. Belizean beauty ambassador, Jalyssa Arthurs, has won the title of Miss Central America. The 19-year-old beauty represented Belize with pride and elegance on the international stage. “This is the first time that Belize has won this pageant. I definitely learned a lot in this pageant because it was a very unique one. I represented my beautiful jewel Belize which is the only English-speaking country in Central America. Even though there was a language barrier between me and the other contestants, I still did my best to communicate with them. I even learned a little bit of Spanish on this journey. Now that all my hard work was successful and I’m now Miss Centro America 2019, I hope to represent not only Belize but all of Central America in the most prestigious way. I will definitely use this platform to help improve the communities in my country and in Central America,” Arthurs stated.
