Latin Music Institute announces its new ambassadors. Due to their hard and prolific work as producers and composers, Desmond Child and Rudy Perez are now part of the in-depth list of Cultural Ambassadors of the Latin Music Institute (ILM). According to the ILM Director, Daniel Martin Subiaut, both giants of the music industry join his institute where a great number of members of world-famous academies. For over 40 years, Desmond Child has been the driving force for several artists’ success, including Aerosmith with its single ‘Crazy,’ Bon Jovi with ‘It’s My Life,’ Ricky Martin with ‘La Vida Loca,’ as well as others like Cher, Michael Bolton, Katy Perry and rock bands like Kiss, Roxette and Scorpions. On the other hand, Perez, of Cuban descent, has produced nearly 80 albums with over 300 songs in forty years, which have positioned on Billboard and presided over the Grammy Academy. He also promoted Beyoncé, Luis Miguel, Julio Iglesias, Christina Aguilera, Cristian Castro, Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Luis Fonsi, among others. His work has been closely linked to Latin music, for which he was founder of the Latin Grammy Academy and co-creator with Child, of the Hall of Fame of Latin Composers.
