With the objective of promoting knowledge and innovation and providing practical tools for the business development of Salvadoran women entrepreneurs, the XIII CreceMujer 2024 Congress was held with the support of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI).
Under the organization of Voces Vitales El Salvador, the Congress focused on topics related to leadership and personal development, business growth trends, innovation, and digital tools. Additionally, the importance of self-care and the well-being of women in order to perform their multiple roles was highlighted.
CreceMujer is a platform that provides opportunities for corporate and business leaders to exchange experiences and best practices that contribute to closing gender gaps in employment, financing, and capacity building.
CABEI participated in the Women’s Empowerment Panel, presenting various financial solutions offered through products and programs with a gender focus, especially the Financial Intermediation Program “Business Financing for Women (FEM)”. FEM focuses on promoting the empowerment and economic autonomy of women, contributing to the regional economic development and integration process in terms of gender. Since 2016, it has managed to benefit, at the regional level, more than 9,000 women by granting more than 6,300 credits, strengthening more than 13,000 jobs, totaling USD 60.65 million.
Demonstrating its commitment to the empowerment of women entrepreneurs, CABEI joined the effort promoted by Voces Vitales El Salvador, which emphasizes the role of women in the country’s economy.
