With the purpose that companies can promote and exchange their products, explore new commercial alliances and contact new partners in the region, the Expo Aladi 2023: Multisectoral Business Matchmaking began this Monday at Pabexpo in Havana.

13 countries and other organizations from Latin America and the Caribbean participate, in addition to 363 companies, highlighting Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador and Mexico.

The inauguration on Monday at the Palace of Conventions in the Cuban capital was chaired by President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, as well as other government officials and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment.

The meeting organized by the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI), will be held until next Wednesday. In previous years it was held virtually due to the pandemic.

Among the products to be promoted are livestock, food, beverages, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, textiles, clothing, footwear, plastics, containers and packaging, and services tourism, communications and transport, among others.

This event has been held since 2014 and seeks to empower MSMEs to achieve spaces in the Latin American and Caribbean market.
