Travelers coming from India must carry a Covid-19 PCR or negative test from Monday on 48 hours before arriving in Panama.
According to the Ministry of Health (MINSA), the regulation also applies to those who enter Panama in private charters, boats, and vehicles, who must assume the cost of a second test prior to their registration in Migration.
MINSA also said that such a regulation includes all those who come from UK, South Africa and South America, who must comply with a 3-day home isolation period in case of national or resident in the country, or in a surveillance hotel for travelers, even if they come back negative.
It is worth noting this regulation does not apply to sailors, technical and auxiliary crews, mechanics, drivers and international cargo transport assistants.
